Hello My Brethren – Our March 7th meeting has come and gone, and let spend a few minutes telling you about what happened during our meeting. First we had dinner and fellowship with each other. Dinner consisted of Cottage Pie (a take on Shepard’s Pie) and cookies. After our standard meeting items, we had our Event Committee discuss their report on our upcoming Open House. Our stated meeting opened at 7:30 PM, after fellowship and a dinner of multiple topping option Pizzas and Dessert. During our meeting, we discussed the upcoming April 22nd State-wide Masonic Open House as well as our upcoming inspection, as well as our upcoming Past Masters Night (April 25th.) On February 15th, 15 of your Brothers traveled to Cortland Lodge #529 to claim the Kenny Gifford Traveling Gavel. About half of us arrived early enough to dine with our brothers from Cortland, while the rest arrived before the 7pm Lodge meeting started. Last night was our 1st Stated Meeting for February. Prior to our meeting, we had our District Officer go through our pre-inspection, which I am happy to report passed with flying colors. We also enjoyed some dinner and fellowship (dinner being provided by our event committee) and multiple EAs returned that evening to just come and enjoy lodge, as well watch the degree that they just went through last week,
On Tuesday, January 31st, we held a special meeting to confer the EA degree on 2 candidates, one of whom is the Grand Master’s 25th Districts 2022 Excellence in Youth award recipient, as well as his Uncle. We began the evening with fellowship in Burton Hall over a delicious dinner prepared for us by our new Events Committee (which was established to handle all of our scheduling and dinner preparations
Greetings Brethren – This is a quick reminder that we are having our Out of Lodge Monthly Dinner Thursday, January 26th at The Sunrise Inn in Downtown Warren. Also – On Tuesday, January 31st, we will be conferring the Entered Apprentice Degree upon two of our recently accepted petitioners.
