OPAL Chapter #181November 22 our meeting was opened under the gavel of Heather Wingfield because Worthy Matron Shawn Woods had fallen and severely broken her leg. The meeting with 30 members present was preceded with a delightful dinner provided by Diana Martin and Ruth Tomlinson. Our October 29th INSTALLATION was so well attended it reminded us of the GOOD OLD DAYS. Shawn Woods and David Hyde were installed to lead our Chapter in the promising 2022-2023 year as Worthy Matron and Worthy Patron. Purple was the color chosen by the Worthy Matron for this year. OCTOBER NEWS FROM OPAL 181With the arrival of October our hearts turn to cider, donuts, and Opal Chapter’s annual Halloween party. We are gathering at the Front Porch Winery, October 22 at 1:00 pm. The Highlight of Tuesday, April 2 when Opal Chapter Officers and a pleasing number of sideliners gathered at their stated meeting to present membership pins to 5 members.
