Welcome to May!
We started last month with assisting AASR Valley of Youngstown with their
annual Feast of the Paschal Lamb festivities on Palm Sunday. It is always an honor to work side by side
with other Masonic groups.
We ended the month with our Inspection and our Installation of Officers. David went back in as Master Counselor for his second Term, Caleb was installed as Senior Counselor, Zander was installed as Junior Deacon, Dominic went in as Standard Bearer, and Jim will be serving the Chapter as Chaplin again.
In other news from this past month, David has been selected as a winner of the Grand Master’s Excellence in Youth Award for the 25th Masonic District! We are very proud of him and this accomplishment is a wonderful honor for him.
In May, we will be performing our annual tribute to the Mothers of the Chapter Members at our meeting on Mother’s Day. The Chapter will be playing paintball – tentatively scheduled for the 19th and we’re looking at a visit to the drag racing track on the 26th.
The Summer is already shaping up to be very busy with trips to submarines, air museums, Ohio DeMolay Conclave – celebrating DeMolay’s 100th year, and much more. It is a great time to be a DeMolay and even better if you’re a member of Warren DeMolay.
DeMolay is open to young men between the ages of 12 and 21 If you have a young man who is interested in joining DeMolay please contact Chapter Advisor, Dad Eugene Miligi at 330-502-6931 or any other Adviser or Chapter member for an application! Stated meetings are the 2nd and 4th Sundays at 3:00 pm at the Warren Temple. Senior DeMolay, Master Masons in good standing, and parents & grandparents of active DeMolay, are always welcome to attend!
