At our November stated meeting we handled lots of business as our year began, which included the Installation of Treasurer, Karen Humphrey, and Warder, Lucille Boles who were ill at the time of our Installation in October. Following the meeting we enjoyed a dessert luncheon. prepared by Merry Beth and family.
During the month we had illness of several officers and wished them well: Karrie Poling with bronchitis, Mildred Beck with Covid19, Margaret Best who had a heart stent inserted, Millie Watson who had a reaction to her flu shot, and George McClelland who has been undergoing tests.
Our next meeting will be December 21st and officers will be wearing red or green tops in observance of the Christmas Season. We will be observing Obligation Night. In place of a gift exchange, in keeping with the Worthy Matron’s project for the year, officers and members are asked to bring an unwrapped toy to be given to a child at Christmas 2023. A Christmas dessert luncheon will be hosted by Carol Souders and Nancy Malone.
We will be recessed during the months of January and February, so our next stated meeting will be March 15th. The luncheon following the meeting will be served by Linda Arens.
