Greetings Masonic Family and Friends!
Well, well, well…..there you are again… And, here we are, too! Did you know that during the month of October our lovely ladies participated in several charity driven/community service events? They helped to beautify one of Trumbull County’s premier parks! The Daughters and adults of our Bethel picked up trash at Mosquito Lake State Park one morning. Not familiar with this lake? Mosquito Lake has 42 miles of shoreline, an impressive 7,199 acres of water, and is located in the middle of Trumbull County! Another event they participated in was Samaritan’s Purse: Operation Christmas Child. Yup! They sure did! They donated so many items that they were able to pack multiple shoeboxes to be donated and delivered to children in need around the world so that they may know the love of God and have a wonderful Christmas!
Speaking of that blessed event where we celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior….did you know that Christmas is right around the corner?! Where did the time go this year?! We have another action-packed month of November to get through first, so hold onto your turkey trimmings because here’s what we have for you!
– Sunday, November 3rd: Job’s Daughters meeting at the Warren Masonic Temple at 3:00 pm (Jobies-to-Be welcome!)
– Sunday, November 3rd: Fun Event: Diamond Art Craft Day Party immediately following the meeting!
– Saturday, November 9th: Statewide Initiation at Western Reserve Masonic Home
– Sunday, November 10th: Bethel #62 OV
– Sunday, November 17h: Bethel’s #45/#22/#71 Official Visitation and Majority Ceremony for Sonya (POMJD and POMC)
Oh! Before we forget, our annual fruit basket sales are now in full swing and hopefully your group has received one of our order forms! Fruit baskets make excellent Christmas gifts for that hard-to-buy-for person and include sizes: small ($15.00), medium ($20.00), and large ($25.00). Each basket is filled with apples, oranges, bananas, grapes, grapefruit, and candy and will be made Friday, December 20th, 2024, and ready for pick-up that evening. Orders are due no later than December 1st, 2024, so please contact Norma Brink (330 718-0931) to place your order and set up a time to pick them up on December 20th at the Warren Masonic Temple!
Just in case you aren’t familiar with us, Job’s Daughters’ mission is to create confident young women, respecting tradition, and shaping the future. Our members learn invaluable skills that increase their confidence and prepare them to become leaders in your community. For the month of November, we will be having our stated meeting on Sunday the 3rd at 3:00 pm. We welcome all Masons and members of any Masonic affiliated groups to attend our meetings! We also have a Jobie-2-Be program for any girl aged 7 to 9 or any other age that is interested in learning more about Job’s Daughters. For a full list of what we do each month, please contact our Bethel Guardian, Carrie Guesman at (330) 219-0781, for more information or a petition!
Sincerely,
Daughters and Adults of Bethel #49
