We had a great time at Ohio Grand Assembly. The assembly brought home several awards including: a trophy for no suspensions, certificate for no loss of membership, 1st place scrapbook, 1st place Flamingo Toss & 3rd place Relay Race in the Superteam field events, green, blue, & indigo membership paintbrush & red shoe charm from Supreme Assembly membership drive as well as 2nd place for the Terry Sue Hawke Berry memorial Membership drive – Alyssa C. We were honored to have Miss Alyssa C serve as the Grand Deputy Escort and Miss Navada B serve as Pledge Sister for the statewide Pledge Ceremony for the weekend.
Our Assembly has a busy fall term of activities planned with a “New Beginnings” theme. For service projects the girls will be supporting the Ronald McDonald House & the Rainbow Scholarship Fund. For social activities the assembly held their annual Founder’s Day Picnic at AdventureZone at Geneva-on-the-Lake. We are planning our annual Halloween & Christmas parties. Money makers will include running a game booth at the Farmington Festival, selling shopping passes to Boscov’s Grand Opening Charity Day, and selling pepperoni/sausage rolls. We plan to have a promotional booth at the Geauga County Fair and give promotional talks to Progress Court Order of Amaranth, and Trinity Shrine #42 Order of the White Shrine of Jerusalem. We hope you will join us in all of our fun this term.
