Greetings Masonic Family and Friends!
Well, if you weren’t one of the 60+ people at the Warren Masonic Temple on April 30, 2023, for the District Official Visitation and the reception for the Grand Bethel Honored Queen, then you missed out! Wow! What a day! Almost a full corps of officers including Bethel Choir….the Grand Guardian and Associate Grand Guardian in attendance….Daughters and adults from all corners of the state….live music….a new young lady initiated (congrats to Bethel #31 of North Canton!)…..and a Mad Hatter Tea Party extravaganza of a reception afterwards. Wow. If this sounds action-packed, then you are reading everything correctly because it was! If that wasn’t enough, we had the Ohio Miss Job’s Daughters and Ohio Miss Congeniality (past and present) in attendance, not to mention a past Supreme Bethel Honored Queen and several Past Grand Guardians. Whew! I think we need to sit down for a moment with all of this excitement overload! Long story short, if you weren’t able to attend, then you really missed out! Congratulations to our Grand Bethel Honored Queen, Charlotte G., for an awesome job this year representing Ohio Job’s Daughters!
So, after reading that last paragraph are you excited? Well, you should be! Here is your chance this May to “Catch the Wave” (Grand Guardian’s theme, by the way!) and get on board with Job’s Daughters, Bethel #49:
Saturday, May 6: Adult Leadership Meeting at the Ashland Masonic Temple for those registered by May 4.
Sunday, May 7: Stated Meeting. We may take this meeting on the road to help our sisters from another Bethel. Check with our Bethel Guardian, Angela Maselli, for more details.
Saturday, May 13: Fun Event at the Akron Zoo. We will finally get to see the snow leopard we symbolically adopted this term!
Sunday, May 21: Stated Meeting and Job’s-Daughters-to-Be meeting at the Warren Masonic Temple. Afterwards we will do our monthly cleaning of the Temple to make it sparkle and shine!
Also, looking just a little farther ahead will be our annual Grand Session at the Double Tree Hotel in Westlake, Ohio on June 21 -23, 2023. So much to do and see with Bethel #49 of Warren, Ohio that you can’t help but want to “Catch the Wave”! With that being said, did you know that it isn’t too late for that special young lady in your life to join Job’s Daughters and join in all of this fun? So, help us build your future by starting with the present and sponsor a young lady for membership! It’s never too late to sign a petition! Not quite sure she will like Job’s Daughters? Not a problem! We have many fun events where she can attend and meet the members and ask lots of questions! We even have a Job’s Daughters-To-Be program (run by none other than Norma Brink herself!) for just such a special young lady! Don’t miss out on this great opportunity for your youth!
For those of you not familiar with us, Job’s Daughters mission is to create confident young women, respecting tradition, and shaping the future. Our members learn invaluable skills that increase their confidence and prepare them to lead. We teach girls to use their voice. We welcome all Masons and members of any Masonic affiliated groups to attend our meetings! For more information or a petition, please contact our Bethel Guardian, Angela Maselli (330) 612-3092!
Sincerely,
Daughters and Adults of Bethel #49
