Greetings Masonic Family and Friends!
Well, hello there, again, and happy April! How’s everything going with you? Fine. Fine. Good to hear. We’re doing fine as well. Correction. We’re doing great! Thanks for asking! And, while we’re thinking about it, THANK YOU to all of the Masonic groups and individuals that continue to support our Daughters! Whether it’s monetary donations, joining us at the Cortland Masonic Temple for a pancake breakfast (which, by the way, the ladies with the help of the Masons, raised approximately $1,000 to be donated to the H.I.K.E. fund (Hearing Improvement Kids Endowment)), or just showing up and supporting the girls at events, your continued support is much appreciated! Feeling motivated yet? Great! See what Bethel #49 has going on for the month of April and plan to mark your calendars to join us for one or more of our events!
Sunday, April 2: Feast of the Paschal Lamb at the Warren Masonic Temple
Sunday, April 16: Stated Meeting at the Avon Lake Masonic Temple to help our sisters at Bethel #66 with their Official Visitation. The reception for the Grand Guardian and Associate Grand Guardian will follow.
Saturday, April 22: Warren Masonic Temple Open House from 12:00 pm – 3:00pm
Sunday, April 23: Stated Meeting and Job’s-Daughters-to-Be meeting at the Warren Masonic Temple. Afterwards we will have our monthly fun event, which is a craft day, and do our monthly cleaning of the Temple.
Sunday, April 30: Hold onto your socks, because this is the big one! Our Bethel will be hosting a District Official Visitation at 3:00pm followed by the Grand Bethel Honored Queen Reception of our very own Charlotte G.! Hooray! If you don’t come to anything else this month, please plan on attending this monumental event!
Speaking of super important events, did you know that it isn’t too late for that special young lady in your life to join Job’s Daughters and join in all of this fun? So, help us build your future by starting with the present and sponsor a young lady for membership! It’s never too late to sign a petition! Not quite sure she will like Job’s Daughters? Not a problem! We have many fun events where she can attend and meet the members and ask lots of questions! We even have a Job’s Daughters-To-Be program (run by none other than Norma Brink herself!) for just such a special young lady! Don’t miss out on this great opportunity for your youth!
For those of you not familiar with us, Job’s Daughters mission is to create confident young women, respecting tradition, and shaping the future. Our members learn invaluable skills that increase their confidence and prepare them to lead. We teach girls to use their voice. We welcome all Masons and members of any Masonic affiliated groups to attend our meetings! For more information or a petition, please contact our Bethel Guardian, Angela Maselli (330) 612-3092!
Sincerely,
Daughters and Adults of Bethel #49
