Greetings Masonic Family and Friends!
Well, has the day finally arrived?! Does the state look like it might be starting to open up again?! That’s how we’re interpreting it! We hope all is well with each and every one of you and you are gearing up for a fun and safe summer! We miss you, but we will all be together again soon enough!
So, I’m sure there are several questions going through your minds right now. Let’s see if we can answer some of them in our Frequently Asked Questions section below:
Q: Are you going to have an Installation this month?
A: No. No, we are not.
Q: Are you going to have your two monthly meetings?
A: Yes! Yes ,we are! Please mark your calendars for Sunday, June 6 and Sunday, June 20 at 3:00 pm. These will be ZOOM meetings, so please contact our Bethel Guardian, Angela Maselli, if you are interested in attending. We welcome all Masons and members of any Masonic affiliated groups to attend our meetings!
Q: What kind of fun event did you do last month?
A: We are glad you asked! We did a ZOOM scavenger hunt! Sound fun? It was definitely a nail biter! Two of the lovely ladies were neck in neck for the big prize, but after 30 hunts around the house for items, Luciana was victorious and took home the prize and bragging rights!
Q: That sounds pretty awesome! What do you have planned for this month?
A: Mark your calendar for Saturday, June 26! Our lovely ladies and adults will be giving back to their community by picking up trash at Mosquito Lake State Park up on the Causeway (State Route 88). Please contact our Bethel Guardian, Angela, if you are interested in helping!
Q: That’s so great of you to give back to your community like that! Did you do any other service type event last month?
A: Yes! Yes, we did! Our Daughters all signed Mother’s Day cards for the female residents of Alpine House Assisted Living Facilities in Ravenna and our Bethel Guardian and Honored Queen hand delivered them along with beautiful silk flower arrangements on Mother’s Day!
Well, hopefully that answered all of your questions for this month and we will see you soon! Just in case you aren’t familiar with us, Job’s Daughters’ mission is to create confident young women, respecting tradition, and shaping the future. Our members learn invaluable skills that increase their confidence and prepare them to lead. We teach girls to use their voice. We also have a Jobie-2-Be program for any girl age 7 to 9 or any other age that is interested in learning more about Job’s Daughters. For a full list of what we do each month, please contact our Bethel Guardian, Angela Maselli (330) 612-3092, for more information or a petition!
Sincerely,
Daughters and Adults of Bethel #49
