Greetings Masonic Family and Friends!
So, how’ve you been? Cooped up? Bored? Craving human contact? Hoping this virus and all of its restrictions are over soon and we can all get back to normal? Whew! Glad we’re not the only ones! Thank goodness for the mighty ZOOM and its ability to allow us to continue our business for each of our groups in some capacity. It’s definitely an adjustment, but it won’t last forever. Pretty soon we will look back at this blink in time and think about it fondly. Well, not too fondly. But, you get the picture.
Anyway, wonder how the lovely ladies from Bethel #49 of Warren have been surviving? To answer the question, they’ve been fantastic and, above all, adaptable! Matter of fact, just last week they had a socially distanced, pretty remarkable, paint party fun event. What?! ‘How did they manage that?’ you might ask? Well, our awesome Bethel Guardian dropped off paint supplies to each of the girls houses and on a designated day and time each of the ladies logged into ZOOM and watched a step-by-step tutorial on how to paint waterfalls. At the end of the session, each girl had produced a masterpiece on canvas of the same, but different concept. Sound like fun? We thought so! Our March fun event will be a ZOOM game night! If you’re interested in getting in on the fun, please contact our Bethel Guardian, Angela Maselli, for more details! Just FYI, this would be a great event to bring that interested young lady in your life to in order to meet and greet with our lovely ladies. Just because we’re ZOOM happy right now doesn’t mean we aren’t conducting our business! So, help us build your future by starting with the present and sponsor a young lady for membership! It’s never too late to sign a petition! Not quite sure she will like Job’s Daughters? Not a problem! We even have a Job’s Daughters-To-Be program (run by none other than Norma Brink herself!) for just such a special young lady! Don’t miss out on this great opportunity for your youth!
Just when you think we couldn’t possibly ZOOM anymore; Ohio Job’s Daughters are planning on having a virtual Pageant in April! Wow! Thank you to all of the Masonic groups who sponsored our lovely ladies! Bethel #49 will be represented by two of our Daughters and we wish them the best of luck!
For those of you not familiar with Job’s Daughters, we are a positive faith-based organization for girls between the ages of 10 and 20 that provides leadership, builds self-confidence, and allows girls to make lifelong friendships. For the month of March, we will be having our stated meetings on Sunday the 7th and Sunday the 21st at 3:00 pm via ZOOM. We welcome all Masons and members of any Masonic affiliated groups to attend our meetings! We also have a Jobie-2-Be program for any girl age 7 to 9 or any other age that is interested in learning more about Job’s Daughters. For a full list of what we do each month, please contact our Bethel Guardian, Angela Maselli (330) 612-3092, for more information or a petition!
Sincerely,
Daughters and Adults of Bethel #49
