THE MARCH STATED MEETING:  Depending on where we are with COVID this could well be another ZOOM meeting online.  Please check the website or the Facebook page to see how this meeting will go.  If you would like to be on the zoom meeting invitation and you did not get one for the February meeting please email your address to the valley.

2021 SPRING REUNION:  At this point in time the 2021 Spring Reunion is not definite.  It is tentatively scheduled for Friday, April 23rd and Saturday, April 24th.  See future articles in the Mahoning Mason, the Website or our Facebook page to see if this will actually occur.  If it does it is looking more like the Fall reunion with all DVD degrees.  We will keep you posted.

SUPREME COUNCIL SCHOLARSHIP GRANTS are now available in the Scottish Rite officeThe Supreme Council Abbott Scholarships are now available to any child or grandchild of a Scottish Rite member.  We will still give at least one Hubert E. White Valley scholarship as well.  The number of scholarships from Supreme Council are directly related to the amount given by our members to the Blue Envelope Appeal.  The more we give, the more we get back.  Our members have obviously increased their giving to this Appeal as last year we received over $3,000 for scholarships.   We would also like to increase the number of Hubert E. White Scholarships from 1 to 2 but we need to build that fund up from it’s current $14,000 to closer to $20,000 to ensure its continued existence.  Please consider giving to this fund as well.

DUES NOTICES:  I’m sure most of you are aware of the change in how dues notices have been sent out.  You will not receive another dues notice for 2021 at this point.  If you have not paid your dues yet, please do so.  Be aware that dues notices start going out in June now, whereas in previous years they went out in August/September, so keep an eye out for it and don’t just throw it away.
