It’s June – the month of graduations, weddings, and other fun stuff. For us, we’ll be getting back to work on the 15th with our Stated Meeting. It’s going to be a busy evening with normal business, elections, annual reports, etc. We hope that you have been able to stay safe and healthy during our time off and that you haven’t become too rusty with your parts. There will be no dinner or refreshments at this meeting as a precaution.
Our Chapter Excellence Report is complete and is ready to go to our DGM for her review. It’s amazing to read how much we accomplished this year given all the downtime we’ve had. A heartfelt THANK YOU to all who participated in our activities that made this year such a good year.
Since June is the last active month before our Summer Recess, I want to wish you all health and happiness for the Summer. Please stay safe and take the necessary precautions. Our Worthy Patron had to be tested for the virus before a surgical procedure and he passed. His comment after the procedure was he was virus free on the date of the test, but it doesn’t mean he can’t catch it afterwards. Almost all of us are in the highly susceptible group of over 60 with underlying health issues. We want to see everyone back in September.
As Star events occur this Summer, we hope that you can attend and share in the Star Love of each event.
