Greetings Masonic Family and Friends!
Well, if you weren’t able to attend our annual Ohio Miss Job’s Daughters Pageant this year, then you missed a good one! Our very own, Courtney W., who spent the last year as our reigning Ohio Miss Job’s Daughter said her goodbyes as she took her final walk as OMJD. Thank you to Courtney for representing our organization with dignity, grace, and humility throughout this past year. We are so proud of you and everything you have accomplished so far and can’t wait to see what the future brings for you. Special thanks to her mother, Renee, and her Bethel #49 sisters who shared her with the state as well. Now, just when you thought we were done sharing, hold onto your socks! Because this Pageant produced another Bethel #49 winner! Many congratulations to Ariana C. for being crowned as our next Junior Ohio Miss Job’s Daughter! Wow! Good luck this year to her and safe travels!
So, after reading that last paragraph are you excited? Well, you should be! Here is your chance this May to get on board with Job’s Daughters, Bethel #49:
Saturday, May 2: JDU/Leadership for those pre-registered to attend
Sunday, May 3: Stated Meeting, Viking Fest Fun Event, and Go-To-Church Sunday
Saturday, May 16: Hike for H.I.K.E. Location TBA.
Sunday, May 17: Stated Meeting and Job’s-Daughters-to-Be meeting at the Warren Masonic Temple.
Speaking of super important events, did you know that it isn’t too late for that special young lady in your life to become a member of Job’s Daughters and join in on all of this fun? So, help us build your future by starting with the present and sponsor a young lady for membership! It’s never too late to sign a petition! Not quite sure she will like Job’s Daughters? Not a problem! We have many monthly fun events where she can attend and meet the members and ask lots of questions! Don’t miss out on this great opportunity for your youth!
Just in case you aren’t familiar with us, Job’s Daughters’ mission is to create confident young women, respecting tradition, and shaping the future. Our members learn invaluable skills that increase their confidence and prepare them to lead. We teach girls to use their voice. We also have a Jobie-2-Be program for any girl age 7 to 9 or any other age that is interested in learning more about Job’s Daughters. For a full list of what we do each month, please contact our Bethel Guardian, Renee Wilcox, at (330) 240-2164, for more information or a petition!
Sincerely,
Daughters and Adults of Bethel #49
