Greetings Masonic Family and Friends!
Well, if you weren’t one of the 50ish people at the Warren Masonic Temple on April 6, 2025, for Bethel 49’s Official Visitation and the reception and celebration for the Ohio Miss Job’s Daughter, Junior Ohio Miss Job’s Daughter, Associate Grand Guardian, Grand Bethel Junior Princess, Grand Chaplain, Grand 1st Messenger, and Grand Bethel Representative #1, then you missed out! Wow! What a day! Almost a full corps of officers….the Grand Guardian and Associate Grand Guardian in attendance…..Daughters and adults from all corners of the state…..live music…..a closing Square and Compass formation…..pasta bar…….and an Under- the-Sea extravaganza of a reception afterwards. Wow. If this sounds action-packed then you are reading everything correctly because it was! Whew! I think we need to sit down for a moment with all of this excitement overload! Long story short, if you weren’t able to attend, then you really missed out! Congratulations to our Daughters and Adults representing the Grand Family for an awesome job this year representing Ohio Job’s Daughters!
So, after reading that last paragraph are you excited? Well, you should be! Here is your chance this May to get on board with Job’s Daughters, Bethel #49:
Sunday, May 18: Stated Meeting and Job’s-Daughters-to-Be meeting at the Warren Masonic Temple. Afterwards we will do our monthly cleaning of the Temple to make it sparkle and shine!
Saturday, May 31: Ohio Miss Job’s Daughter and Ohio Miss Congeniality Pageant at Aladdin Shrine Temple.
For those of you not familiar with Job’s Daughters, we are a positive faith-based organization for girls between the ages of 10 and 20 that provides leadership, builds self-confidence, and allows girls to make lifelong friendships. “Job’s Daughters’ mission is to create confident young women, respect tradition, and shape the future. Our members learn invaluable skills that increase their confidence and prepare them to lead. We teach girls to use their voice.” (www.jobsdaughtersinternational.org) We welcome all Masons and members of any Masonic affiliated groups to attend our meetings! We also have a Jobie-2-Be program for any girl age 7 to 9 or any other age that is interested in learning more about Job’s Daughters. For a full list of what we do each month, please contact our Bethel Guardian, Carrie Guesman, at (330) 219-0781, for more information or a petition!
Sincerely,
Daughters and Adults of Bethel #49
