Greetings Masonic Family and Friends!
So, how’ve you been?  Good to hear!  We’re doing just great as well!  Thanks for asking! Wondering what exciting adventures we have planned for this month?  Well, hold onto your socks, because this is one action-packed month!  Hopefully everyone can join us for our many adventures as we go ‘in like a lion and out like a lamb’ this month!
Saturday, March 2: Pancake Breakfast at the Cortland Masonic Temple to raise money for our Bethel
Sunday, March 3: Job’s Daughters meeting at 3:00 pm at the Warren Masonic Temple. (Jobies-to-Be welcome!)  After the meeting we will have our monthly fun event which will be a birthday party celebrating our founder, Ethel T. Wead Mick (aka: Mother Mick).  Fun fact: She would have been 143 years old on March 9 this year!
Saturday – Sunday, March 9-10: Multi-State in Indiana for those preregistered
Saturday, March 16: Messenger Team Tryouts at Hiram Lodge
Sunday, March 17: Job’s Daughters meeting at 3:00 pm at the Warren Masonic Temple. (Jobies-to-Be welcome!)  After the meeting we will be doing our monthly Temple cleaning to help make the building shine, so bring clothes you don’t mind getting dirty!
Sunday, March 17: Grand Bethel Honored Queen/Ohio Miss Job’s Daughter/Ohio Miss Congeniality Reception in Mansfield
Saturday, March 23: Tri Youth Masonic Leadership Day at Aladdin Shrine Temple in Columbus
Saturday, March 23: Serve an Installation dinner for Warren Commandery!
Sunday, March 24: Feast of the Paschal Lamb

Anyway, do you know what March 2024 means to us?  It means that we are one month closer to our Official Visitation in June followed by our Installation!  Hooray!  (More to come in the following articles!)  Speaking of, did you know that it isn’t too late for that special young lady in your life to join Job’s Daughters and join in all of this fun?  So, help us build your future by starting with the present and sponsor a young lady for membership!  It’s never too late to sign a petition!  Not quite sure she will like Job’s Daughters?  Not a problem!  We have many fun events where she can attend and meet the members and ask lots of questions! We even have a Job’s Daughters-To-Be program (run by none other than Norma Brink herself!) for just such a special young lady!  Don’t miss out on this great opportunity for your youth!

For those of you not familiar with Job’s Daughters, we are a positive faith-based organization for girls between the ages of 10 and 20 that provides leadership, builds self-confidence, and allows girls to make lifelong friendships.  “Job’s Daughters’ mission is to create confident young women, respect tradition, and shape the future. Our members learn invaluable skills that increase their confidence and prepare them to lead. We teach girls to use their voice.” (www.jobsdaughtersinternational.org) We welcome all Masons and members of any Masonic affiliated groups to attend our meetings!  We also have a Jobie-2-Be program for any girl age 7 to 9 or any other age that is interested in learning more about Job’s Daughters.  For a full list of what we do each month, please contact our newest Bethel Guardian, Carrie Guesman, at (330) 219-0781, for more information or a petition!
Sincerely,
Daughters and Adults of Bethel #49
