Greetings Masonic Family and Friends!
Well, how did your summer go? Hot?! Yeah, we believe it! Hopefully you were able to renew old friendships and make lasting ones despite this nasty pandemic. We know you have missed hearing about our Warren Job’s Daughters, so we will just give you the quick highlights! In July our lovely ladies and adults served a pancake breakfast at the Cortland Masonic Lodge. Many thanks to Cortland Lodge for inviting us and providing us with this awesome opportunity to serve the community and strengthen our Masonic bond! Oh, by the way, did Mosquito Lake State Park look a little cleaner to you around June and July? No, they didn’t hire more maintenance staff…. It was us!! Despite the heat and humidity, our Daughters and adults grabbed those trash bags and started filling them with garbage along the Causeway. It was a long and grueling task in the summer heat, but the park never looked better for all to enjoy then when our Bethel volunteered their time to help beautify it! Did you know that we also attended Supreme Session in Virginia? Well, we did! Just ask us! We’ll tell you more about it! Finally, the best way to round out the summer before back to meetings, memorization, and traveling was to give a Masonic talk to the members of Progress Court, #22, Order of the Amaranth who meet in the Liberty Masonic Complex. Alongside our sister Bethel #35 and also the West Farmington Rainbow Girls, we shared information with the Amaranth members and, they in turn, did the same for us. It was a very educational night and many thanks to Progress Court #22 for inviting us!
So, despite this pandemic, we kept busy, but played it safe in order to keep our members and those we encounter protected as well! So, have we sold you yet on our Bethel? Are you looking forward to seeing us again in the near future? Not a problem! Check out the paragraph below to visit us during one of our meetings. Have a young lady interested in Job’s Daughters and you’d like her to start her journey with us soon (maybe as soon as this fall!)? Not a problem! Contact our Bethel Guardian, Angela Maselli, for more information and or a petition and we hope to see you in September!
Just in case you aren’t familiar with us, Job’s Daughters’ mission is to create confident young women, respecting tradition, and shaping the future. Our members learn invaluable skills that increase their confidence and prepare them to lead. For the month of September, we will be having our stated meetings on Sunday the 5th and Sunday the 19th at 3:00 pm. We welcome all Masons and members of any Masonic affiliated groups to attend our meetings! We also have a Jobie-2-Be program for any girl age 7 to 9 or any other age that is interested in learning more about Job’s Daughters. Not quite sure you are ready to venture out into the Masonic Lodge with this unpredictable virus running around? Not a problem! Contact our Bethel Guardian to receive a code to attend via ZOOM! For a full list of what we do each month, please contact our Bethel Guardian, Angela Maselli (330) 612-3092, for more information or a petition!
Sincerely,
Daughters and Adults of Bethel #49
