Greetings Masonic Family and Friends!
Can you believe it is July already?! Seriously! Where did half a year go so soon?! Are you staying indoors and out of the heat? We hope so! We don’t want anything to happen to you because you would miss all of the fun! Want to know what we have been up to and what we are going to be doing this month? Well, let’s talk about the fun and exciting things we did this past month first…..
Let’s see….what happened in June….think….think… Oh yes! Grand Session! We did business as usual, but with a flare of excitement! Congratulations to Jaime S. who is the new Grand Bethel 1st Messenger, Lily G. as the new Grand Bethel 5th Messenger, and Ariana C. as Grand Bethel Representative #3 for the coming year! Oh! Oh! Don’t forget about the adults! Double high five, fist bump, and two thumbs up for Renee Wilcox as Grand Librarian and Angela Maselli who was just voted in as Grand Marshal! Wow! May you all have many safe travels this coming year and thank you for continuing to represent Ohio Job’s Daughters!
Curious as to what we will be doing in July besides staying cool? Well, this Friday, July 4 at 10:00 am our Bethel will be participating in the Newton Falls 4th of July parade with Newton Falls Masonic Lodge! Interested in riding on the parade float and or tossing out candy to the crowd? Please contact our Bethel Guardian for more information!
Other than that, we plan on staying cool during this super-hot month. But, not to worry because we will be back in meeting status in September! Just in case you aren’t familiar with us, Job’s Daughters’ mission is to create confident young women, respecting tradition, and shaping the future. Our members learn invaluable skills that increase their confidence and prepare them to lead. We teach girls to use their voice. We also have a Jobie-2-Be program for any girl age 7 to 9 or any other age that is interested in learning more about Job’s Daughters. For a full list of what we do each month, please contact our Bethel Guardian, Carrie Guesman, at (330) 219-0781, for more information or a petition!
Sincerely,
Daughters and Adults of Bethel #49
