This is the first newsletter article for Sunrise Chapter.
We welcomed members and guests to our Annual Installation on October 26th, with the Installation of our elected and appointed officers. Heading the Installing Team was Gloria Tilden, Past Matron of Falls Chapter.
We are looking forward to a very exciting year. We have just been advised that we will be having our Inspection on Wednesday, May 17th by Worthy Grand Patron Rick Miller.
The theme for this year is “ Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer – Island of misfit toys.” Service project is collecting new unwrapped toys to be given at Christmas 2023. So, when you are visiting us, please bring an unwrapped toy.
During October we mourned the loss of Cheryl Lamm, a 42-year member who passed away. Congratulations are extended to Zachary Vargo who has been appointed Grand Aide to Districts 1 and 2 Deputy Grand Matron, Sherri Gotthardt.
Our stated meetings are on the 3rd Wednesday of the month at 7:30 pm at the Liberty Masonic Complex, 1350 Shannon Road in Girard. We recess during January and February. Visiting Eastern Star members welcome – just let us know if you are planning to visit. Our next meeting will be November 16th with dessert lunch to follow the meeting hosted by WM Merry Beth Vargo.
