Greetings Masonic Family and Friends!
We’re back! Keeping safe, and, most importantly, keeping healthy and we hope you are doing the same! As we are starting to ease into our activities again, we have much to share with you! Read on for more…..
To begin with, did you happen to catch our virtual AND in person Ohio Miss Job’s Daughters Pageant a few weeks ago? Our Bethel was represented by our very own Charlotte G. as Delegate, and she did beautifully! If you didn’t see it, then you missed out! We couldn’t have been more proud of all of the hard work Charlotte did in representing our Bethel! While Pageant participants may make it look easy, it takes a lot of time behind the scenes of studying our Job’s Daughters laws, rules, regulations, and ritual, in addition to practicing interview questions, taking a written test, reciting a Messenger’s part, and also being watched and graded throughout the day. Awesome and amazing job to her in representing our Bethel and Ohio Job’s Daughters!
Also, for the month of April, Bethel #49 assisted Scottish Rite with their annual program, “The Solemn Ceremonial Feast of The Pascal Lamb”. If you have never witnessed this ceremony, it is something else! We highly recommend you put it on your calendar for next year on Palm Sunday. Now, our lovely ladies aren’t all work and no play! They had their monthly fun event at Busy Bees Pottery and Art Studio at the Eastwood Mall. Should be interesting to see some of their exciting creations!
As for our most important upcoming events, please mark on your calendars, Sunday, June 5th, 2022 at 3:00 pm at the Warren Masonic Temple to join us for our Semi-Annual Installation of Officers where we will have first-time Honored Queen, Courtney W. installed into office!
Oh! Before we forget, just an FYI, we still have plenty of openings for that special young lady in your life to join our happy family! So, help us build your future by starting with the present and sponsor a young lady for membership! It’s never too late to sign a petition! Not quite sure she will like Job’s Daughters? Not a problem! We even have a Job’s Daughters-To-Be program (run by none other than Norma Brink herself!)! Don’t miss out on this great opportunity for your youth!
For those of you not familiar with us, Job’s Daughters’ mission is to create confident young women, respecting tradition, and shaping the future. Our members learn invaluable skills that increase their confidence and prepare them to lead. We teach girls to use their voice. For the month of May, we will be having our stated meeting on Sunday the 1st at 3:00 pm and Sunday the 15th at 3:00 pm. We welcome all Masons and members of any Masonic affiliated groups to attend our meetings! We also have a Jobie-2-Be program for any girl age 7 to 9 or any other age that is interested in learning more about Job’s Daughters. For a full list of what we do each month, please contact our Bethel Guardian, Angela Maselli (330) 612-3092, for more information or a petition!
Sincerely,
Daughters and Adults of Bethel #49
