Greetings Masonic Family and Friends!
“There are far better things ahead than any we leave behind.” (C.S. Lewis)

Well, hello there, welcome back, and happy New Year!  We hope all of you had a very Merry Christmas and your coming new year will be filled with safe travels, good health, and wonderful memories!

The lovely ladies of Bethel #49 would once again like to express their sincere appreciation for everyone who helped with our annual fruit basket sales!  Whether you purchased a fruit basket, spread the word about the sale, or just made a donation, the girls really appreciated it!  A special giant THANK YOU goes out to our very own Norma Brink and Honored Queen Jacquelyn M.!  Jacquelyn and Norma were present when our fruit shipment came and assembled ALL of the fruit baskets before anyone else arrived!  This labor of love guaranteed that the rest of our lovely ladies would not have to congregate together or even be present and, therefore, kept them safe!  Because of these two individuals and their sacrifice, our annual fruit basket sale was once again a huge success!

Well, normally during this article we would be inviting you to our Semi-Annual Open Installation of Officers.  Unfortunately, once again because of this rotten pandemic, the Job’s Daughters are bound by a strict set of rules meant to keep them and our adults safe from this virus.  Therefore, we are not openly advertising you attend our Semi-Annual Installation of Officers that will be held on Sunday, January 16th, 2022, that will find our first time Honored Queen, Charlotte G. being installed into this very important office!  But, if you could possibly send good thoughts our way and a few prayers for a successful term, the Daughters and adults would greatly appreciate it!  Now, with that being said, we are not exactly closed for business.  Quite the opposite!  We are still accepting petitions for membership, and with your help, we can make that possible!  All Job’s Daughters requires is a young lady between the ages of 10 and 20 that is sponsored by a Mason.  Help us build your future by starting with the present and sponsor a young lady for membership!  It’s not too late to sign a petition!  Not quite sure she will like Job’s Daughters?  Not a problem!  We will soon enough all be together again with no restrictions and resuming all of our previous activities where she can attend and meet the members and ask many questions!  We even have a Job’s Daughters-To-Be program (run by none other than Norma Brink herself) for just such a special young lady!  Don’t miss out on this great opportunity for your youth!

For those of you not familiar with Job’s Daughters, we are a positive faith-based organization for girls between the ages of 10 and 20 that provides leadership, builds self-confidence, and allows girls to make lifelong friendships.  For the month of January, we will be having our stated meeting on Sunday the 2nd.  We welcome all Masons and members of any Masonic affiliated groups to attend our meetings via ZOOM at this time!  We also have a Jobie-2-Be program for any girl aged 7 to 9 or any other age that is interested in learning more about Job’s Daughters.  For a full list of what we do each month, please contact our Bethel Guardian, Angela Maselli (330) 612-3092, for more information, a petition, or access to our meetings via ZOOM!

Sincerely,
Daughters and Adults of Bethel #49
