Greetings Sir Knights,
It’s hard to believe that the Holiday Season is upon us and 2021 is almost over!  It’s been a crazy year for many reasons, let’s hope we can get back to normal now.  Starting with our Christmas Observance, it will be prior to our stated conclave on December 10th and will be preceded by a potluck dinner @6 pm.   The program will begin at 7 pm.  We will once again have our annual white elephant gift exchange and dinner on December 18th @5pm.  This is always a lot of fun and I highly recommend it and hope to see you there.  This year it will be a potluck dinner at the Warren Masonic Center with the main dish being provided by the York Rite bodies.  If you want to participate in the exchange, please bring one gift (<$25) for each participant.  Remember re gifting is not only allowed but is encouraged.

We have two candidates that we were planning to take to St. Johns for the Order of Red Cross, unfortunately the O. R. C. was cancelled.  The plan now is to take them to Akron Commandry on the 15th of December if our Candidates are available.  If possible, I would like to have these candidates ready for Order of the Temple the night before our inspection.  We already have a candidate for our inspection who has been waiting for over a year now.  Speaking of inspection, I would like to start ironing out some of the details of our inspection such as parts and practice times.  For this reason, it is extremely important that we have as many Sir Knights in attendance as possible.  We will also be doing a full form opening including rehearsal of duties so please look it over.

Remember the reason for the season as you are rushing about in preparation for the Holidays.  Call or visit that friend you haven’t seen in a while.  Practice Gratitude and Compassion at every opportunity.  Kathy and I wish you a most Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
Fraternally,
Rick Antill, EC
