Greetings my brethren –

I hope this reading finds you in good health and good spirits, and you find yourself doing well in our current times. I noticed that our lodge hasn’t updated these messages in a good while, so I definitely want to remedy that.

One of the things that we’ve discussed is the possibility of having some of our normal meeting available via Zoom Conference. This would allow those of you who either a) are not able to attend locally, or b) live out of the area and would love to see your brethren virtually – the ability to join our meetings after they are opened. All you would have to have is a Zoom account which is free for those that are simply joining meetings to watch (you can go to https://zoom.us/ to sign up for an account). If this is something that you would be interested in, please let me know. If we have enough interested members as, we will make this happen. [Please remember that you would not be allowed to vote on any issues, but you can watch the meeting take place, and be a part of the conversations]

Some upcoming things for you to take notice of… Our holiday party for the kids will be on Saturday, December 11th from 3 – 5pm in Burton Hall at the Temple. There will be holiday music playing, as well as food. We ask that you bring a covered dish if you wish to participate, but Old Erie will be providing the meat for everyone.

Also – our Awards Night will be on December 14th, and that will begin at 7pm. We will be having refreshments afterwards, so please join us for that.

While these events are a few months out, they are fast approaching, so I wanted to mention them to hopefully bring them to your attention so you can plan to attend… Our Inspection (in the EA degree) will be on Tuesday, March 8th at 7pm, which will be preceded by dinner at 6pm. Our Past Masters Night/Seafood Dinner night will take place on Tuesday, April 26th. And we are looking at May 31st as our Annual Steak Fry night. But we’ll have more details on these events in the upcoming months.

I certainly hope everyone has a great holiday season, and look forward to seeing everyone attending lodge soon!
