Greetings Masonic Family and Friends!
Can you believe it is July already?! Seriously! Where did half a year go so soon?! Want to know what we have been up to and what we are going to be doing this month? We know you are just dying to ask! So, let’s talk about the fun and exciting things we did this past month. To begin with, virtual Grand Session! We did business as usual, but virtually! Oh! Oh! Three of our very own Daughters are Grand Bethel Officers this year! Hats off, high five, congratulations, and everything in between to: Jacquelyn M. for being selected as Grand Bethel Junior Princess, Charlotte G. as Grand Bethel Chaplain, and Courtney W. as Grand Bethel 3rd Messenger! Wow! How awesome is that? Want to know what else we did? Well, on the last hot Saturday of June, the Daughters and adults of Bethel #49 of Warren gave back to their community and volunteered their time picking up garbage at Mosquito Lake State Park. What better way to help then to beautify an area that everyone can enjoy?
So, what is on the agenda for July…..hmmmmm….what could it be….. It’s the Trumbull County Fair!!! As usual, we will be under the Grand Stands, but don’t look for our knick knack selling table because this year we will be across the aisle and assisting the Ali Baba Grotto with selling their food items at their concession stand. So, if you’re hungry, you know where to find us! Speaking of food, did you know that on Saturday, July 10th the Cortland Masonic Lodge is having their monthly pancake breakfast? Just to let you know, we will be there assisting these fine cooks with all proceeds going to our Bethel as a fundraiser! Wow! How great is that?! So, please stop on by and purchase your pancake breakfast on July 10th!!
Other than that, we plan on staying cool during this super hot month. But, not to worry because we will be back in meeting status in September! Just in case you aren’t familiar with us, Job’s Daughters’ mission is to create confident young women, respecting tradition, and shaping the future. Our members learn invaluable skills that increase their confidence and prepare them to lead. We teach girls to use their voice. We also have a Jobie-2-Be program for any girl age 7 to 9 or any other age that is interested in learning more about Job’s Daughters. For a full list of what we do each month, please contact our Bethel Guardian, Angela Maselli (330) 612-3092, for more information or a petition!
Sincerely,
Daughters and Adults of Bethel #49
