Greetings Masonic Family and Friends!
Did you miss us? We missed you! In case you haven’t heard, Bethel #49 of Warren, Ohio is back up and running…..in person! While we haven’t been able to maintain our usual active selves, we hold fast to the belief that our “new normal” will be a thing of the past and we will get back to business. This might take a while, but we’re patient. If there’s one thing we learn in Job’s Daughters it’s, “patience…faith….reward”. Ever hear of the “patience of Job”? That’s us! While we know some folks may be cautious about stepping back into the temple for an in-person meeting, we understand. So, please let us know if you want to attend anyway and we can make it happen via ZOOM. It will be like you are here…well, kind of. For all those attending in person, please remember to social distance, wear a mask, wash your hands, and please stay home if you aren’t feeling well. There will be plenty of time to reunite with us, so don’t worry! While everyone has been put on hold for now, our annual fruit basket sales have not! Stay tuned to your mailboxes and a future Trestle Board for more information. Fruit baskets make excellent Christmas gifts for that hard-to-buy-for person and includes sizes small ($13.00), medium ($18.00), and large ($25.00). Each basket is filled with apples, oranges, bananas, grapes, grapefruit, and candy and will be made before Christmas. Our Daughter’s and adults will be using every precaution we can to ensure our highest quality work, while keeping healthy.
For those of you not familiar with Job’s Daughters, we are a positive faith-based organization for girls between the ages of 10 and 20 that provides leadership, builds self-confidence, and allows girls to make lifelong friendships. For the month of October, we will be having our stated meetings on Sunday the 4th and Sunday the 18th at 3:00 pm. We welcome all Masons and members of any Masonic affiliated groups to attend our meetings! We also have a Jobie-2-Be program for any girl age 7 to 9 or any other age that is interested in learning more about Job’s Daughters.
