THE OCTOBER STATED MEETING will begin with dinner at 6:30 pm followed by the Stated Meeting at 7:30 pm.  All Stated Meetings begin with a dinner at a cost of $7.00.  Income from the dinners will go to the Hospitaler’s Fund.  With our Elections and Installation of Officers cancelled and move to September 10, 2020 there will not be a program for this meeting.

THE MSA RECEPTION will be held on November 21, 2020, at 7:00 pm. to honor W. Bro. Michael J. Waldern, MSA.  Dinner attendance at all our functions continues to drop drastically.  This year we are trying something different.  Please note that the evening starts with the MSA Ceremony at 7:00 pm.  Following the ceremony, we will adjourn to the 1st floor office space which will be set up with tall tables, finger foods and beverages.

THE NOVEMBER STATED MEETING will be held on our normal first Thursday, November 5, 2020 and will also be our Veterans night and program.  Look for more in the November bulletin.

DUES STATEMENTS for 2020 have been mailed and should already be in your hands.  I am sure you have noticed that the dues statements have changed and arrived earlier than previous years.  Please note that these dues statements are for your 2021 dues.  Dues are $95.00 and due in the office by December 31, 2020.

BLUE ENVELOPE APPEAL – October is the month of Supreme Council’s Blue Envelope Appeal.  Every member will receive a Blue Envelope to donate to Supreme Council Charities.  The amount donated by our members is directly proportional to the amount we receive from Supreme Council for Abbott Scholarships.  The more we give, the more we get back.  This past year our members gave significantly more than any year in the past.  Because of this we received more than twice the amount we have received in precious years, over $6,000.  We were able to give 4 Abbott Scholarships in the amount of just over $1500 and one Hubert E. White Scholarship.  We had 5 applications and all 5 received a check.

PLEASE CONTINUE TO DONATE to the Valley’s Hubert E. White Scholarship Fund and to the Hospitaler Fund.  These monies stay in the valley and help our members directly.  With the current situation in our country and especially the Youngstown/Warren Area these funds could dry up quickly without your help.
