Laissez le bon temps rouler! We survived Mardi Gras however you celebrated it and are now into Lent.
Our March starts off with our Stated Meeting on the 2nd. Remember this is the last day for us to collect the 12-Can Challenge. We will be delivering later in the week.
Next on our calendar is our St. Patrick’s Tea on March 15th to support AGP Bill Murphy. This is a good time to invite your sisters from other Chapters as well as your friends. We will be hosting the young ladies from our two local Job’s Daughters Bethels. This is an excellent opportunity for us to introduce them to some of the fun things we do in Eastern Star.
We will have a Special Meeting on March 16th at 7:30 pm to practice for our Inspection. Since we will be inspected by our Worthy Grand Matron Margi, it is important that we do well. Remember, learn your parts, we don’t want books out during Inspection. We WILL have a prompter in case you get tongue-tied on a word or phrase.
Past Matrons and Past Patrons Dinner Meeting will be on the 27th at Perkins Restaurant on Rt 46 at 6:00 pm.
March 17th is, of course, St. Patrick’s Day. No matter your genealogy, EVERYBODY is at least a little Irish that day. Hope you have a Very Green Day!!
