The Morning Light, OES, scholarship is awarded yearly.  The amount of the award is $250.  An applicant can apply for the scholarship if he/she is enrolled in an accredited university, college, trade school or is a high school senior who is anticipating acceptance into an approved higher education program.  On-line classes do not qualify for this scholarship.

Applications are available in the second-floor lounge at the Warren Masonic Building or by emailing the Scholarship chairperson, Karen Andrus at kma7952@aol.com.

The application form is to be filled out by the student.  It must be completed and signed by the applicant and a parent and postmarked no later than APRIL 2, 2020 for delivery to Morning Light Chapter #80, OES, Attention: 2020 Scholarship Committee, 112 Pine Street, Warren, Ohio 44481.

Should the applicant need more room to answer a question, additional sheets of paper may be attached to the application form.  Please make certain each attached sheet bears the student’s full name and that the question number and paragraph subject matter are clearly indicated.

It is very important that all information submitted is legible.  Typed applications are desirable, but not required.  Each applicant should keep a copy of his/her application.

The Scholarship recipient(s) will be contacted in May about the award. Award money will be disbursed in June 2020 in a check to the higher institute the recipient attends or plans on attending .
