Happy New Year everyone!! Welcome to the Roaring 20’s Part 2!!
Our first monthly activity is our District Meeting on Saturday, January 4th at the Cuyahoga Falls Masonic Temple. The meeting is jointly hosted by Falls and Ravenna Chapters. Officers breakout meetings start at 10 and the General Meeting at 11. If you haven’t let anyone know about staying for lunch, please do so ASAP!
January 6th is our Stated Meeting at 7:30 PM with a light dinner at 6. This meeting is our annual Landmarks and Obligation meeting. We also will be acting on a revised budget for the year. We will have fliers about Legacy Dog Rescue collection at this meeting. Our 12-Can Challenge will continue at this meeting, too. Our goal is to deliver the collection to Warren Family Mission in February.
Ready for some laughs? There’s the District gathering at the TNT Playhouse on January 12th to see “Deep in the Heart of Tuna”. Hors d’oeuvres is at 2:00 PM and the play starts at 3. Hope to see you there.
January 26th is the date for the Reception for Peggy Campano. The festivities will be at Billow Chapter, 1589 Akron Peninsula Rd. at 3:00 PM. This will be a great time to show Peggy all the Star Love that has been directed her way. DEFINITELY hope to see you there!
Note: Someone brought up an idea that may save you some grief later. When you are writing out the date, no matter if it’s in the form of Jan 1, 2020, 1/1/2020, 1 Jan 2020. Please use the entire year. If you use just 20, someone could alter your date to 2021, etc.
