Greetings Masonic Family and Friends!
The lovely ladies of Bethel #49 would once again like to express their sincere appreciation for everyone who helped with our annual fruit basket sales!  Because of you, it was again a huge success!  You weren’t able to assist with our fund raiser?  Not a problem!  There are many other ways you can support our 49ers (the Job’s Daughters, that is, not so much the football team!).  Please mark your calendar for Sunday, January 5th, 2020 at 3:00 pm for our Semi-Annual Open Installation of Officers to be held at the Warren Masonic Temple!  The Daughters and adults would love to see you on the sidelines as we install our new core of officers!  Did we mention the reception afterwards?  Everyone is invited to attend!  Not a good date for you?  That’s okay, we have others!  Just watch future Trestle Boards for dates and times!

Can you believe that Job’s Daughters, Bethel #49 of Warren, Ohio will be celebrating their 64th anniversary in 2020?!  Wow, we’ve been here for a long time and we hope to be around a lot longer!  With your help we can make that possible!  All Job’s Daughters requires is a young lady between the ages of 10 and 20 that is sponsored by a Mason.  Help us build your future by starting with the present and sponsor a young lady for membership!  It’s not too late to sign a petition!  Not quite sure she will like Job’s Daughters?  Not a problem!  We have many monthly fun events where she can attend and meet the members and ask lots of questions!  We even have a Job’s Daughters-To-Be program (run by none other than Norma Brink herself) for just such a special young lady!  Don’t miss out on this great opportunity for your youth!

By the way, do you remember our article from last month?  You don’t?!  Well, don’t worry about trying to dig through the online archives right now to find it.  We’ll just give you the happy conclusion to our patriotic-themed term and the various service projects we were involved with.  This term the girls decided to focus on our military men and women.  They gave a monetary donation to Disabled American Veterans of Ohio and have collected suggested food items for low-income enlisted men and women and their families of the 910th Airlift Wing located in Vienna, Ohio, so that they may all have a very happy Thanksgiving!  Their donations of food collected totaled 159 pounds of food!  WOW!  They even received a special commendation from the Air Base for their generous donations!  To round out the term, they collected and donated 17 new toys for the Marine Toys for Tots program. Double high five to all those young ladies (and the adult guidance!) on a job well done this term!

For those of you not familiar with Job’s Daughters, we are a positive faith-based organization for girls between the ages of 10 and 20 that provides leadership, builds self-confidence, and allows girls to make lifelong friendships.  For the month of January, we will be having our stated meeting on Sunday the 19th at 3:00 pm (and don’t forget our Installation on the 5th!).  We welcome all Masons and members of any Masonic affiliated groups to attend our meetings!  We also have a Jobie-2-Be program for any girl age 7 to 9 or any other age that is interested in learning more about Job’s Daughters.  For a full list of what we do each month please check out our Bethel calendar located on the second-floor bulletin board of the Warren Masonic Temple or just contact our Bethel Guardian, Angela Maselli, for more information or a petition!  We hope to see you soon!
Sincerely,
Daughters and Adults of Bethel #49
