Have you seen us lately? You haven’t?! Then you have missed some fun and excitement! On March 9th, 2019 at our annual Tri-Youth event we initiated another member into our Bethel! Congratulations Anna M. and welcome to our happy group! Afraid you missed out on the fun that day? It’s not too late to sign a petition and have that special young lady in your life join us! Not quite sure she will like Job’s Daughters? Not a problem! We have many monthly fun events where she can attend and meet the members and ask lots of questions! We even have a Job’s Daughters-To-Be program for just such a special young lady! Don’t miss out on this great opportunity for your youth!
We hope you’ve marked a special spot on your calendar to attend our annual Ohio Miss Job’s Daughters Pageant. This year it will be held at the Lakewood Masonic Temple (15300 Detroit Avenue, Lakewood, Ohio 44107) on Saturday, April 27th, 2019 at 7:00 pm and our Bethel will be well represented! Thank you to all the Masonic groups who donated funds to help make this event possible for the Daughters. We hope you will be able to join us for this evening event and help cheer on the lovely ladies of Bethel #49!
Looking ahead a little further is another important date in our Job’s Daughters lives and that is our Official Visitation (aka: Inspection) on Sunday, May 5th at 2:00 pm. We will be taking our OV on the road and traveling to the North Canton Masonic Temple (805 Orchard Avenue NE, North Canton, Ohio 44720) to perform this beautiful ceremony with our sister Bethel. This important meeting is open to all Masons and women with proper Masonic relationship. The girls work hard all term on their parts and would love to share them with you. Help us build your future by starting with the present and sponsor a young lady for membership!
For those of you not familiar with Job’s Daughters, we are a positive faith-based organization for girls between the ages of 10 and 20 that provides leadership, builds self-confidence, and allows girls to make lifelong friendships. For the month of April, we will be having our stated meeting on Sunday the 7th at 3:00 pm and taking a field trip to Bethel #35 in Niles/Girard to share a meeting with them as well! We welcome all Masons and members of any Masonic affiliated groups to attend our meetings! We also have a Jobie-2-Be program for any girl age 7 to 9 or any other age that is interested in learning more about Job’s Daughters.
